Hyundai Mercury Prize 2019

LRI has been involved with The Mercury Prize since it began in 1992. This year there were an eclectic and outstanding 12 acts chosen from the hundreds of applications for the best British or Irish Album of the Year.

Broadcast live across both BBC television and radio, LRI staged the show at the Eventim Apollo London and it was hosted by Annie Mac with eleven live performances.

The amazing line-up included Foals, Anna Calvi, Little Simz, Seed Ensemble, Fontaines DC, Cate Le Bon, black midi, NAO, slowthai, IDLES and Dave who was crowned overall winner for his album Psycho.
