FROG EDUCATION
– BETT 2017

OBJECTIVE

Frog Education once again chose LRI to create and deliver their exhibition presence at BETT 17 – the UK’s leading Education event for Technology with 34,530 unique visitors from 138 countries.

As one of the UK’s leading companies in this sector Frog’s operating system for education is growing along with the 12,000 schools they partner with.

LRI have a legacy of producing show stopping high energy exhibits for Frog designed to stimulate ideas and start conversations. Having built and designed their stand for the last three years, this year’s objective was to build on this dynamism and continue the conversation and get down to talking business. In a changing and challenging school environment, the stand architecture was tasked with defining the brand and presenting the product range as out of the box solutions, that work right here, right now.

SOLUTION

The stand was defined by retail style LED signage flown above viewable from all major approaches, this was supplemented with a scrolling LED message sculpture to continue the conversation. On the stand, there were a series of hands-on demonstration pods that ran ‘out of the box’ experiences. A simplistic box-grid texture was applied to every surface offering visual clarity and accessibility along with colour coded products -all sprayed to an exquisitely smooth seamless finish. This stylish simplicity hid multiple inset screens as well as merchandise windows. Additionally, each grid also a secret cupboard stacked with 12,000 Frog bags accessible behind handle-less push release doors. Even the modular cubed furniture was re-configured at different times of the day to suit different purposes from perimeter demonstrations to an ad hoc pop-up theatre for more in-depth discussions.

VERDICT

The event opened at 9.30am sharp with Frog Education being visited by Liam Fox MP with a delegation from UKTI raising the Frog profile from the start.

The show was busy, and LRI stayed on hand to support and settle the staff into their new booth. Sara Hill, Marketing Manager at Frog, declared the event a success and a great experience – they have already re-booked the space for 2018!
