Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) is a provider of international examinations and qualifications to 10,000 schools in more than 160 countries.
CIE were searching for a new supplier to contract out their video production work to create case study videos across these schools around the world.
After a lengthy procurement process LRI were delighted to be contracted.
For each project we are given a location and a date of the filming from CIE and our role is to find the best local crew and producers to undertake the filming. We reach out to our global contacts to source quality-checked film crews in the given city around the world. Once sourced, we shortlist up to three recommendations based on our understanding of what CIE’s needs are for each location or shoot, linked with our knowledge of the local area
In the shortlist of video crews we include their portfolio of work and references enabling the client to make a considered decision on the local crew they would like to work with. The next stage of the process is to book the local resources and manage the project ensuring the job has been successfully completed. We then take delivery of the video assets from each job, securely storing them on our media servers in London before forwarding them onto CIE.
As a result of this work we have been asked by another department within CIE to source local photographers around the world to go to schools to take reportage style photographs of the students and teachers for their website and promotional use.
More recently we have also been asked to edit some of the case study videos to take the pressure off their in-house edit team as well as producing onsite highlight videos at their Schools Conference which takes place in Cambridge every year.
We have worked on over 50 projects in locations including Madrid, Bangkok, Rome, Johannesburg, Dubai, Malaysia, Oman, Shanghai and Beijing.
“Wherever the country, whatever the brief, LRI consistently show great organisational and communication skills to deliver a high quality service.”
